A Little About Me

Hey, I'm Roxanna Allen—a Brooklyn native, creative thinker, visual storyteller, and lover of all things expressive.

I’m passionate about bringing ideas to life through thoughtful art direction, compelling design, and creative problem-solving. At the heart of my work is a simple philosophy: listen closely, understand the vision, and create something meaningful. Beyond art direction and design, my expertise extends to project management and production, allowing me to take ideas from concept to completion.

I earned my degree in Advertising from Boston University's College of Communication and my MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts.

Creativity doesn't stop when I step away from the screen. I'm inspired by hip-hop, R&B, soca, street art, good laughs, and any excuse to dance. My latest creative adventure? Songwriting—another way to turn thoughts, feelings, and experiences into something worth sharing.

I believe in living passionately, staying curious, and constantly discovering new ways to express myself.

Oh, and I love animals. When I'm not creating, you might find me hanging out with my mom's cat, Jimmy Chew. Yes, that's really his name.
